The national project “Demography” is designed for 2019-2024. It includes five federal projects: “Financial support for families at the birth of children”, “Promotion of women’s employment”, “Older generation”, “Strengthening public health”, “Sport is the norm of life”. The national project budget will amount to 3.1 trillion rubles.

From October 21 to 23, 2020, 10 thousand high school students of the Volgograd region will write regional diagnostic papers in five subjects: Russian language, mathematics, biology, geography and social studies, according to the regional Internet portal “City News”.

This assessment procedure is being carried out for the first time, it will determine the level and quality of knowledge of graduates of the 9th grade of the 2019/20 academic year, who, due to the sanitary and epidemiological situation, did not pass the main state exam (OGE).

“Diagnostic work is needed for an objective assessment of the quality of knowledge received by schoolchildren at the end of the 9th grade. Based on their results, teachers will be able to adjust their work programs, and children – to find out which topics have been mastered perfectly and which ones should be filled in, ”explained Madina Beytuganova, Head of the Department of State Final Attestation of the Committee for Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Volgograd Region.

Knowledge testing will be carried out using the control and measuring materials of the OGE last year. On October 21, schoolchildren will write a paper on the Russian language, on October 22 – in mathematics, on October 23 – in biology, geography and social studies.
